Dear Friends of the Chapel:
With 2018 fast coming to a close it is that time of the year that the members of the Chapel of the Snows Board of Trustees reach out to you, the members of the local community to ask for your help once again in assisting us with your financial support for the Chapel.
This past year has seen many projects completed at the Chapel. Walkways were paved, outside lighting upgraded, the steeple was repaired and other improvements were completed inside the building. A big thanks to all who did wonderful work and those who work to maintain the Chapel.
You are our primary source of funding along with monies we receive from weddings and meetings and $2400 from the Catholic Diocese of Vermont. Your thoughtful gifts are the most significant source of operating funds for the Chapel. Please try to be as generous as possible.
Realizing the Chapel is a resource for the entire community we are encouraging our local organizations to consider using the Chapel for appropriate use and functions. It is a wonderful resource, well located so please consider it for additional use.
There shall be a non-denominational service at the Chapel of the Snows on Christmas Eve at 8:00 pm. Please check the Chapel information line for the latest schedule of services and events.
As we reflect on the seriousness of our commitment to the Chapel of the Snows, we look for your continued support. Please make your tax-deductible gifts payable to the Chapel of the Snows, c/o Larry Wohler, P.O. Box 367, Stratton Mountain, VT 05155.
Our direct phone number, 802-297-4493, has a recording of Chapel services and events.
On behalf of the Chapel of the Snows Board of Trustees and myself, I want to thank you for your generous support over the years and into the future.
Before closing I wanted to extend a thank you to Dr. Dave McKenna for the many, many years that he has served the Chapel as he now steps down from his role as president.
Please, once again, help us with your support for this wonderful community asset.
Sincerely,
Jim Reynolds
